HEADS & FLAMES (a "Danish" look?... no offense intended)
IT'S HOT HERE
It was 100 degrees, very dry and windy... So, to celebrate it, we had a bush fire
NORMAN ROCKWELL
Jeremy, my boss here, was about to leave to shoot a flag retirement ceremony and he told me: "you can choose between going to a council meeting and come back with a headshot or coming with me and see what this flag burning is about.." Needless to say, I passed the council meeting. When we got there, I saw all those boy scouts and I felt like I was 50 years back in time, inside a Norman Rockwell drawing, and I quite forgot about the burning flags...

That first shot with the military man and the fire is simply "whoa dude. Cool shot!" And yes, you nailed it. That first boyscout shout screams Norman Rockwell.
love the lines in the first pic. love the second boy scout picture. I can recognize your style now, Jero...
miss ya. keep the pictures coming.
Joachim would be proud, although, it was really Jim and Chris Morris that started this cropping. They both have the same boy, with a similar crop, on the streets of chechnya...

Kinda crazy that they both photographed the same kid on the same street.
Interesting fire pics, Jeronimo! I also like those of the kids too. A lot.
However, as we scroll towards the end, It gets hard to imagine what Nachtwey and Morris would say, when there's so much flash blinding them from the last picture :))
Now can you imagine what Rita would say if she saw that? You forgot your ratios, Jeronimo.
